In this short symphonic piece, the composer expresses the political and social change in and around Europe. The fanfare treats a theme by Anton Bruckner and develops a modern hymn. With the fanfare at the beginning and the ending, Kurt Gäble depicts an active and responsible human. The hymn in the middle of the piece symbolizes the guideline of our deeds. The change should bring an awakening and reorientation for our lives as individuals and as a community.
