This symphonic poem is based on the story of El Tempranillo by the Spanish writer J.M. Hinojosa. El Tempranillo used to be called Robin Hood because he stole from the rich to give to the poor. When the king and his property are threatened by dangerous looters, El Tempranillo is persuaded to fight at the side of the king.
This work is suitable for concerts and competitions.
