Jindřich Brejšek was born in Prague on March 7, 1931. He studied trumpet and conducting at the Prague conservatory . From 1970 to 1985, Brejšek was pricipal conductor of the Central Army Band of the Czech Republic. Against the expections concerning the title "Mit festen Schrit" (At brisk pace) the music is harmonic and light. This is a splendid and rather unknown march rarity from the Czech Republic.
