Hans Blank was born on August 10th, 1919 in Wasseralfingen.
He had his first music lessons in Bamberg at the age of ten. At 14, he began private lessons with Musikdirektor Otto Kuefer in Ulm, studying violin, trumpet and harmonic theory. In 1939 he joined the State Labor Service Band on trumpet and a year later, after auditioning with professor Felix Husadel, he was a member of the air force...Info
