- for Solo Flugelhorn (Trumpet) and Brass Ensemble - Trust, hope and confidence help us - especially in difficult and challenging times. When many rehearsals and concerts had to be cancelled during the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, many people realised what music meant to them and how difficult living without it is. On the one hand, music was almost completely absent from public life, on the other hand, it was a reliable support for many people in their private surroundings. Music helps us overcome obstacles, it carries and inspires us.
With TRUST IN MUSIC, Markus Götz has captured his confidence in sound: better times lie ahead. Within the framework of a captivating pop groove, the composer and trumpet player puts his personal favourite instrument on the spot and enriches the repertoire with a beautiful ballad including a solo for flugelhorn (trumpet). The middle section can be played as written but can also be improvised freely with the help of the chord notations given.
