Spain is famous for its music, art and bullfights. To foreigners, bullfights are not so popular because the bull must die. Portugal also has traditional bullfights, however the bull is not killed.
One type of bullfights in Southern France exists to entertain and to make people laugh. The bull is not a real, but instead two men dressed as a bull. This “bull” (El Toro) is lured into a water basin (Piscine), while the audience has a great time shouting “Olé”.
Luigi di Ghisallo considered a light, cheerful paso doble to be the perfect music for such an entertaining and funny event.
