Main Theme "The Last Unicorn" is an animated motion picture from 1982. It is based on a fantasy novel of the same name, written by Peter S. Beagle, that was first published in 1968. The music for this Film was composed by the very gifted and prolific American songwriter and composer Jimmy Webb. The hauntingly beautiful Main Theme starts out with dissonant harmonies and misty Orchestration, which later brightens up into a warm and expressive Refrain, with the powerful lyrics "I'm Alive ... I'm Alive!" American composer and arranger James L. Hosay's Wind Band arrangement of this theme captures all of the warmth and beauty of what is yet another timeless classic by the great Jimmy Webb.
