Unvergessene Tonfilmschlager 1930-1950 The evolution of sound film in the 1920’s and 1930’s was a milestone for the film industry. Finally the movies were accompanied by appropriate voices, sounds and music. Thus began the film score era. In Germany, sung schlager songs were very popular as soundtracks. Heinz Briegel combined six memorable sound film schlager songs from the period between 1930 and 1950 in this wonderfully nostalgic medley “So schön wie heut’”.
