In the eyes of many people Venice, with its historic buildings, canals and gondolas, is the most beautiful city in the world – and absolutely perfect for the most beautiful day in one’s life. LE NOZZE VENIZIANE (dream wedding in Venice) begins with a festive overture. The marriage ceremony takes place in Santa Maria dei Miracoli, a beautiful church that is particularly popular to bridal couples. From there the wedding party travels the Venetian canals by gondola. You can hear a gondola song (barcarole) and while passing the Rialto Bridge the Choir of the Gondoliers raises its song. Finally there is a big festivity on Saint Mark’s square where people dance through the night to the sweeping rhythms of a tarantella.
