Julian Zörfusz, born in 1997, comes from Neckenmarkt in the so-called Mittelburgenland. Before he could read music, he was already able to play a polka or two on the drums. From the age of about ten, he learned to play the trumpet and flugelhorn with his music school teacher Christian Wieder (trumpeter with da' Blechhaufn). Later, he took drum lessons with Michael Draskovits (drummer with The Hopfenswingers). In the course of his musical career, he has already gained a lot of experience in various, mainly Bohemian bands and associations. These include Musikverein Weinland Neckenmarkt-Horitschon, Werkskapelle Kobersdorf, Blaskapelle Donatus, 4 Weinriegler, Ziaglbehm, BOKU Blaskapelle and Moritz & Co. Besides making music himself, his heart also beats for composing and arranging. He is particularly enthusiastic about music that has already fallen into oblivion. This includes folk tunes from his homeland, the Austrian Burgenland, as well as popular and hit music from the 1960s and 70s.
