Bohemian Tequila
Info
Notes available at: https://www.rundel.de/en/
- based on Böhmischer Traum - The Mexican high-proof drink called "Tequila" is ideal for making alcoholic cocktails, such as the well-known Margarita or the Tequila Sunrise. The drink is also seemingly ideal for the “production” of music, as the 1958 world hit of the same name by the rock band The Champs proves. So how about mixing the characteristic “taste” of this music (meaning the concise Latin rock groove) with a melody from a totally different musical genre to create a completely new kind of cocktail? This is what Stefan Schwalgin thought when he transposed the melody of Norbert Gälle’s legendary polka “Bohemian Dream” into Latin American realms. The result is a sparkling drink in which bohemian leisureliness and Mexican joie de vivre flow together harmoniously. Just serve the Bohemian Tequila, and you can do without more drinks and still put your audience in a roaring mood. Cheers!
