Blue Horizons - M0956.02 | Muziek

This three-part composition is about the ocean and its inhabitants. The first movement explores the black depths of the sea, where only animals can live, which are able to cope with the extreme conditions. Then we hear a fight between to giants of the oceans: the sperm whale and the giant octupus. The third movement tells the story of the blue whale that is threatened by human beings just like many other animals of the sea. "Blue Horizons" draws a beautiful picture of a wonderful piece of nature and also opens up musical horizons.
