These six pieces are conceived to accompany a mass instead of choir singing - or to enhance hit. But also, they are great for church concerts, school concerts or for the first half of serious concerts. In a churchal atmosphere we recommend to have only 2 trumpets and 2 trombones. For all the other occasions you can use the full band instrumentation. When not played during mass, it is better zu use the tempo descriptions like "feierlich" as titles instead of the church titels "Zum Gloria" etc. For a good sound it is important to work on tone quality, intonation and exact rhythm.
