"Mozart!" is a German musical about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The story of the child prodigy is told in songs that mix classical music with rock and pop. Creators of the musical are composer Sylvester Levay and lyricist Michael Kunze, who have also created the successful musical "Elisabeth". Like in the musical about Austrian empress Sissi, the story of the lead character in "Mozart!" is not a glorified fairytale, but shows the inner turmoil of a person, who does not really fit into our world and who searches for the right way.

"Gold von den Sternen" (Gold from the Stars) is one of the most famous songs from the Musical. I is about getting past the fear from the unknown and going out into the world to find one's luck. It is an emotionally strong musical pop ballad. Fritz Neuböck created a fantastic version for wind band and solo vocal.
