Info

Commissioned by Yonezawa Kojokan High School Wind Orchestra. Lux Aeterna means "eternal light" in Latin, and the word is often used in Catholic mass. The piece, though, is not religiously inspired and does not reflect or follow any type, shape or color of music. It describes opposing faces of light and darkness that, while contending with each other, eventually become one.
