Info

"Song for One World" is an ode to peace and freedom. With soft, flowing sounds, composer Luigi di Ghisallo creates a calm and conciliatory mood that is deliberately free of negative elements. The work begins with twelve opening chimes. For a special reason, the composer chose this number, which is symbolically meant in many ways. It stands for perfection, among other things.

The two-part theme in tenorhorn, euphonium and the french horn, appears first in bar 13, runs like a red thread through the entire piece and appears in gradually larger instrumentation. It almost seems as if more and more people symbolically shake hands.

"Song for One World" is suitable for different occasions and offers the opportunity to work on orchestral sound, intonation and musical phrasing at a low level of technical difficulty.
