Ringgenberg Festive Music

Composed for the Kreismusiktag 2014 in Ringgenberg (Switzerland): In 2014, the Ringgenberg Music Society was invited to the Kreismusiktag (local band festival) of the Bernese Oberland Band Music Association. For the grand finale of the event, with a joint performance of all participating bands, German composer Markus Götz, who is a personal friend of the Ringgenberg Music Society, wrote this special composition. The “Ringgenberg Festive Music” bears the subtitle “Friends of Music” and reflects the joyful and celebratory atmosphere of the Kreismusiktag and especially of the joint performance. The event was particularly emotional as the director of the Ringgenberg Music Society, Ueli Zurbuchen, retired from his position after 40 years of commitment to his band and to the band world in general.
