Info

Karl Kreith was an excellent flute virtuoso. He lived and worked in Vienna, where many of his compositions for the instrument, which he played masterfully, have also appeared. In addition to two method books, the "Instructions on how to correctly take all notes on the flute traversière, etc." (Vienna 1799) and the "School for the flute, very useful for every player of this instrument" (Vienna 1799), he wrote concerts, duets, quartets, variations, polonaise, marches and much more. His works reach the respectable opus number 120.
