German composer, arranger and musician Heinz Briegel was born on Mai 6, 1959 in Frankfurt. He studied at the Musikhochschule Frankfurt (1980-83) and also studied composition and arranging with Bill Dobbins and Raiburn Wright (Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York), Kenny Napper (Konservatorium Hilversum) and Bob Brookmeyer (Köln). He played withand arranged for: James Morrison, Randy Brecker, Chaka Khan, Ute Lemper, Philip Catherine and others. Since 1996 regular orchestra and film score productions with the Polish Radio Symphony Orchstra Warsaw. Concerning wind band music he is well-known for his rock, pop and jazz arrangements.
