Info

Hans Ailbout (actually Johann Franz Ailbout) was a German musician, music director and composer. His best-known melody sequence is the fantasy "Im Rosengarten von Sanssouci" (In the rose garden of Sanssouci). In 1912, he won first prize in a composition competition organized by the Scherl publishing house in Berlin with his military march "Wir präsentieren" (We Present). In the arrangement by music inspector Oskar Hackenberger (1872-1929), the march number I, 93 was included in the Prussian Army March Collection (today: German Army Marches - Volume 1).
