The "Egerländer Fuhrmannsmarsch" (Greetings from Egerland) is rightly considered a Bavarian-Bohemian classic of band music (oom-pah). Bohemia and Bavaria: The spatial proximity of the two regions has led to many points of contact since the Middle Ages - especially with regard to culture and music. Siegfried Rundel uses well-known Bohemian folk tunes in his "Egerländer Fuhrmannsmarsch", which are also part of the musical tradition in Bavaria. Whether with a Bohemian pilsner, a measure of Bavarian beer or as a listener to the band parades with magnificently decorated horse-drawn carts - the "Egerland Fuhrmannsmarsch" brings this atmosphere to life. Cheers!
