Francesco Ezechiele Ermenegildo Suppe Demelli aka Franz von Suppé (1819-1895) had a Beglian father and an Austrian mother. He wrote 30 operettas. "Beautiful Galathea" is a true gem for operetta lovers. Atsuhiro Isozaki created a wonderful wind band arrangement of the overture.
