In his work "Bethlehem", composer Kurt Gäble fuses the three popular songs "Stern über Bethlehem" (Star above Bethlehem), "Kleine Stadt Bethlehem" (Little Town of Bethlehem) and "In der Nacht von Bethlehem" (In the Night of Bethlehem) into a moving musical narrative. The story centres on the small, inconspicuous village of Bethlehem and the Christmas star, leading the way and visible from afar.
"Bethlehem" can also be performed with a narrator and choir (SATB). Therefore, ten choral scores are included in the edition. The music by Kurt Gäble and the narration by Markus Schönberger create a unique artistic synthesis that will be a gift to listeners and musicians alike.

Eine Weihnachtsgeschichte Kurt Gaeble has put together a musical Christmas story under the title “Bethlehem”, which contains the popular songs "Stern ueber Bethlehem“ (Star over Bethlehem), "Kleine Stadt Bethlehem" (Little Town of Bethlehem) and "In der Nacht von Bethlehem" (In the Night of Bethlehem). The focus of this Christmas story for wind orchestra, choir and narrator is the small, inconspicuous village of Bethlehem, which became the site of the divine miracle - and the star that shows the way with its bright rays and spreads the good news. Kurt Gaeble creates a fascinating "Bethlehem", with which musicians and listeners will be richly presented at Christmas time.
