In this beautiful polka, Alexander Stütz skilfully uses the soulful melody "Guten Abend, Gute Nacht" (Lullaby) by Johannes Brahms. This title is already firmly established in the repertoire of "Berthold Schick & Allgäu6" - now there is finally a sonorous arrangement for wind orchestra.
The ensemble "Allgäu6" offers brass music from the smallest and finest. The professional musicians mainly present Bohemian-Moravian music in a fascinating and captivating quality. Above all, impressive instrumental solos are the highlights of the thoroughbred musicians. The Turkish march on the tuba, the flight of the bumblebee on the trombone and even the tiger rag on the alphorn are celebrated. Short excursions into jazz and rock complete the spectrum of the rich repertoire.
Alexander Stütz (*1992) received his musical education at the music school in Aalen and was educated in trumpet by Stefan Spielmannleitner. Many different styles have shaped his musical career - from symphonic music to jazz. However, his greatest passion is traditional folk band music. At the age of 16 he composed his first own pieces for alphorn ensemble, later also for small and large wind bands.
