A Long Mile - MVSR1957 | Music

Czech Composer Pavel Stanék influenced the development of wind music by his extraordinary compositions. He was often inspired by folk music of his homeland, what may also be discerned in A Long Mile (Dlouhá míle). In it, the composer was inspired by the idea of a long walk towards a peak. This composition in ternary form is remarkable for its pastoral and at the same time balladic character.
