Satoshi Yagasawa wurde 1975 geboren. Er absolvierte seine Ausbildung an der Musikakademie Musashino. Nach Abschluss seines Master-Studiengangs widmete er sich vier Semester lang der Forschung. Satoshi Yagisawa komponiert eine große Vielfalt an Musik: von Orchestermusik über Kammer- und Chormusik bis hin zu japanischer Musik. Yagisawa ist in vielen Bereichen aktiv: Er ist Jurymitglied bei Wettbewerben, Gastdirigent, gibt Unterricht und komponiert und arrangiert für verschiedene Musikmagazine. Satoshi Yagisawa ist Mitglied von Kyo-En, einer Organisation, die herausragende Originalwerke japanischer Komponisten uraufführt.
